Rob Laurent

Rob LaurentAs a member of the 1st Infantry Division, Rob Laurent was in a tanker in Samarra, Iraq, in 2004 when the tanker was hit with an improvised explosive device (IED). Rob’s injuries were very serious: he lost his right eye and four fingers on his left hand.

Rob retired from the Army in 2005 and returned to his home state of Texas, where he enrolled in Texas State University and completed his B.S. in Criminal Justice.
It was during his hospital stay that Rob learned about Northrop Grumman’s Operation IMPACT program. Rob was hired by Northrop Grumman in August 2008. He is currently a Cost Analyst, Pricing and Estimating.
Rob is married and the father of two boys, ages 3 and 5. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Project Management from Embry Riddle University.
