Ken Heintz


Ken Heintz is corporate vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer. He joined Northrop Grumman in 2005.

Heintz's responsibilities include corporate accounting, financial compliance and reporting, benefits accounting, and tax. He oversees a highly integrated set of processes to optimize the performance of the company's financial reporting and compliance activities.

Heintz brings 37 years of extensive experience in finance, accounting, mergers and acquisitions, tax, and audit roles. He most recently served in a variety of senior executive positions for Hughes Electronics Corporation and DirecTV Group. He spearheaded the full life cycle of several major mergers and acquisition transactions for Hughes, including PanAmSat, Magnavox Electronic Systems, NewsCorp and others totaling more than $10 billion.

He previously held the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer of PanAmSat Corp., a global satellite services company. He established the company's first formal financial planning and budgeting functions. Earlier in his career, Heintz served as national audit partner for Deloitte & Touche's aerospace and defense accounting practice where he was entrusted to consult on industry-specific issues.

Heintz is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics, with honors, from UCLA.
