Gloria A. FlachGloria A. Flach is corporate vice president and president of Enterprise Shared Services for Northrop Grumman.

In this role, Flach leads an Enterprise Shared Services organization that encompasses a variety of service and support functions including Information Technology Solutions, Finance Shared Services, Enterprise Solutions Group, Procurement Shared Services, Human Resources Shared Services, Corporate Administrative Services, Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety, Corporate Real Estate, Corporate Security and Flight Operations.

A 28-year veteran of Northrop Grumman, Flach has held a number of positions with increasing technical and management responsibility. She most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Targeting Systems Division in the company's Electronic Systems sector. In 2007, she was appointed vice president and general manager of Engineering & Logistics with executive responsibility for engineering operations and processes and logistics services across the sector.  In 2009, her role was expanded to include executive responsibility for the sector’s manufacturing operations.

In 2003, she was integral to implementing the sector’s integrated SAP enterprise resource planning system to improve business processes and provide consistent, real-time information to all functions. In 2004, she was appointed vice president and chief information officer for Electronic Systems. In this position, she assured clear and measurable alignment of the sector’s IT investments with business outcome, provided IT strategic direction, and drove innovation and execution of IT solutions within the sector.  

During her career at the company, she has achieved many significant careers milestones. Among them, she served as director of Software Engineering & Design Automation for the Electronic Systems sector in 2000 and was responsible for software engineering execution and an efficient design automation infrastructure across the sector’s diverse program base. In this role, she positioned the sector’s achievement of software engineering CMMI Level 5 process maturity certification.

Flach earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in business administration from Loyola University in Maryland where she is also an inductee in the university’s Computer Science Hall of Fame for outstanding achievement. She has completed the Executive Marketing Program at the University of California, Los Angeles, and the General Manager's Program at Harvard University.
