Walter (Steve) Pedigo is the Northrop Grumman Corporation Corporate Lead Executive (CLE) for the U.S. Army in Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
In this capacity, Mr. Pedigo is responsible for developing and maintaining corporate relationships with the U.S. Army and in business development cross-sector initiatives.
Prior to this position, Steve was the program manager, DCGS-A LSI (Distributed Common Ground Station—Army, Lead Systems Integrator). As program manager, he was responsible for the early integration testing, training, demonstration and accreditation of Army Tactical Intelligence Systems in support of project manager DCGS-A and the Program Executive Office, Intelligence Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) at Fort Monmouth, N.J. Mr. Pedigo’s system integration work was part of the C4ISR Network Systems (CNS) business area of the Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems sector located in Linthicum, Md.
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman in June of 2003, Mr. Pedigo retired from the U.S. Army as a Military Intelligence (MI) colonel, culminating in 27 years of military service. Assignments included: 16 years of command and staff assignments that were at the Army Corps level and at echelons below; Army intelligence production support; support to HUMINT Theater operations; and C4ISR operational and system architecture activities including Information Operations policy development for the Department of the Army.
Mr. Pedigo has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from California State University, Fullerton, and a Master of Arts degree in human resource development from Webster University. He has attended the Army War College, the Command and General Staff College, and the Army Intelligence Basic and Advanced Courses at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.
Mr. Pedigo is a life-time member of the U.S Army War College Alumni. He has received many awards and decorations, including the Legion of Merit, and the Meritorious Service Medal. He also is a recipient of the Army Intelligence Corps’ Knowlton Award.
