Donald Dawson is a Senior Analyst in Northrop Grumman's Analysis Center where he is responsible for preparing in-depth assessments of military, political, technological, and economic developments worldwide. Within the Analysis Center, his work deals primarily with landpower and joint warfighting developments as well as ground-based programs and their collective effects on the company's business sectors.
Dr. Dawson is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and Army War College. He also holds a M.S. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Systems and Industrial Engineering from the University of Arizona. His publications include articles in IIE Transactions and Quality and Reliability Engineering International.
Prior to joining the Analysis Center, Dr. Dawson worked as a Deputy Program Manager in Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector. Before coming to Northrop Grumman he served as a Field Artillery officer for 28 years, retiring in 2006. His Army service included operational tours in Alaska, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Honduras, as well as assignments to the Pentagon with the Joint and Army staffs.
